Meet Coach Jossie
Jossie Harris is a director, acting coach, and founder of Respect for Acting Academy (RFAA) and KWAA: Kids W.A.Y Acting Academy, where she trains actors of all ages to bring truth, technique, and alignment to every role they take on.
A former Fly Girl from the groundbreaking TV series In Living Color, Jossie’s career spans decades in dance, television, film, and performance. She’s worked on sets with artists like Michael Jackson and Mary J. Blige, and has trained and coached professional actors on both coasts.
Jossie is the creator of The Dropped In Method™—a philosophy that fuses craft and spirit. To be truly dropped in, she teaches, is to be present in your technique and grounded in something deeper. Her classes are known for their bold instruction, soulful space, and honest accountability. Actors don’t just train here—they transform.
Whether she's coaching seasoned actors, directing new work, or guiding young artists to their truth, Jossie leads with clarity, confidence, and care. She welcomes actors of all backgrounds and belief systems to join the RFAA & KWAA tribe—and to step into the fullness of their talent with intention and purpose.
